Sparsholt College
Established for over 100 years, Sparsholt offers a wide range of land-based courses. The College has grown from 980 full-time students in 1993 to now over 2,500 full-time and large numbers of part-time learners – over 5,600. There are approximately 500 students studying Foundation Degrees and Honours Degrees. In recent years, the campus at Sparsholt has included provision in automotive engineering, outdoor leisure and sports, sports coaching and construction all of which fit well into the rural/outdoor campus location and ethos.
Sparsholt College continues to provide the focus of excellence on a range of outdoor and land-based courses which have a regional, national and international reputation. In 2007, Sparsholt College merged with the former Cricklade College, now called Andover College, which resulted in the creation of one of the largest colleges in Hampshire. A major investment in new buildings and learning resources is underway.
