Why Cultiva?
Cultiva is an established alliance comprising of five of the countries leading specialist land-based colleges. All of these are highly regarded providers of further education, higher education, work-based learning, in-company training, and research and consultancy services for the land-based and allied sectors. Innovation and value for money is at the heart of what these colleges do.
The Cultiva alliance is a long established partnership and together, the five colleges have over 35,000 students, 1300 teaching staff, 16 university partners and a combined turnover around £120 million. The colleges have chosen to work together on account of their relative size, high quality, breadth of provision and regional locations. We truly believe that by working together, the sum is greater than the individual parts. Synergy is our watch word.
Whilst the Cultiva membership was established a number of years ago and the guiding principle is around working in five of England’s key economic regions, this does not mean to say that we are not prepared to work with partners from other English regions together with Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Previously we have worked with partners from the public and private sectors.
